What night does the crew take the kids out to eat? DW and I want to go to Chops and wondering what night we could do that. Also where do they take the kids on the Freedom? For pizza or Johnny Rockets or something else?

Not sure about Freedom, but I'm thinking formal night in JR's which is what they do on other ships. You could always feed the kids in the Windjammer early then take them to AO at 7 while you enjoy your dinner in Chops on any night.

They take them to Johnny Rockets. It is limited availability so you have to sign up (night before/morning of at the latest)

 

They have THREE nights that they go to JRs on Freedom. Two formal nights and one non-formal night.

 

When we went to Portofino though, we just fed the kids early at Sorrento's (pizza) and then dropped them off at 7pm at AO. Then had our reservation for a time right after that.
