Eurodam Balcony Question

Are the balcony doors sliding or actual door that open out?

Can you keep the door open at night?

Will the AC shut off when the door is open?

Thanks for taking time to answer my questions!

They're hinged, not sliding. You should not prop the door open at any time, because it messes up the air flow for everybody in your HVAC zone. This is particulary unfair to the people in any inside cabins in your zone, who suffer from lack of air while the loss of back-pressure lets it escape out your door. The a/c can not be shut off completely; it will always circulate air.

But, on the other ships, it didn't seem to be the same. The A/C only shut in my cabin.

This is true on all HAL ships.

With all due respect, how would you know whether or not the A/C shut off in other cabins if you had the door open in yours? You wouldn't be in the other cabins.
