Snorkeling Walking Distance to Cruise Ship Terminal

Will be in Bonaire from 12:00 to 7:00 pm. Thinking about going to Kline Bonaire. Wondering if there are any snorkel sights a short walk from cruise ship terminal if we should want to go snorkeling some more.

I dont know if you went yet, but to the right of the dock, in front of the airport there is a beach area with excellent snorkeling! Enjoy.............an amazing island.

Most beaches suffered erosian recently from Hurricane Omar. You may want to take a water taxi to Klein Bonaire.

where do you get the water taxi and how long does it take to get there?

Can you also rent snorkeling gear there?:D

rocks, sand, some vegetation--no drinking water. Take everything you need with you and bring it all back.

We took a ship-sponsored excursion to Klein Bonaire from the Crown Princess 2 years ago. The ferry picked us up at the pier right next to the ship. Easy on, easy off.

 

There was excellent snorkling right next to the beach. Just ask the guides, or look around at where people are snorkling.

 

We did see a lot of jellyfish in the water. They were clear and about as big as a man's fist. We were not stung, but a few other people were stung. It caused itching, like a bee sting.

To the Right of the cruise ship pier, walk to the Divi Flamingo. There may be a service charge (our ship had $ posted). It was so hot that after our Aquaspace cruise, we decided to just do a little shopping and return to the ship. Probably by Feb., the vegetation will start to return. Renee will know where to take you for good snorkeling. folks who took a snorkeling tour from the ship, said it was good.
