Anyone Sail on the Legend of the Seas lately?

Recommended Posts

Sailed on this ship several years ago, two years in a row and loved the Grand Ocean View Suite. Thinking about booking it again for the Panama Canal sailing.
Anyone sailed on her lately that can give me an idea of the condition she has been kept in? I know back then the food was terrible the first year and wonderful the next.
Do they still have the minature golf coarse on the aft of the ship, or have they put in one of those darned rock climbing walls?
Any info you can share would be greatly appreciated.

I havent sailed on her but on the RCCL site it says the ship has a rock-wall and mini-golf course, to me the rockalls on the visions look dangerous, ive only seen one but it was way on the back of the ship and looks like if you fell you could fall overboard.

I was on the Legend in December and she was in wonderful condition. Looked new to me. I would imagine you would have to look very hard to find anything that gave her age away.

There is a minature golf course, and the rock wall is right next to is...in fact I believe they lost a couple of the minature golf holes to make room for it.

The rock wall is at the end of the ship but I can't imagine a way anyone could fall off the ship if they fell off the wall.

We enjoyed the Legend so much we booked her again for September.

I´ve been on her last year in Sept./Oct. for Hawaii to Ensenada. Don´t know if this counts as lately
As this was my second time on the Legend and the first time was back in 1995 (her inaugural season) I think I can compare.
I was so surprised. The Legend was in such a good shape and they did such a good job in refurbishing her. It was almost like being on a new ship. And I felt home immediately. I can´t say anything about rock climbing as it wasn´t installed that time.
I would go back on her in a second.

Thanks for the info!
We sailed on her in 2000 and again in 2001 and the ship has always held the best memorys for my DH, thought maybe it was time to visit her again. Appreciate the feedback.
