10-day forecasts

How accurate do you think the 10-day forecast would be for Barcelona. This is our first trip to Barcelona next week and it says on accuweather (Tons of Rain) on Friday. Have you all ever looked before and found that it wasn't right? And if it is what can we do in the heavy rain?

Of course, a 10-day forecast is sometimes wrong.

 

If it rains heavily, you can:

 

1) Visit the museums. There are some great ones there incuding:

Miro

Catalan History Museum

Picasso

Contempory Air

(there are others worth seeing also)

 

2) get wet and do whatever you were going to do

 

3) have a glass of wine (or four) and watch the world go by.

Just like in the USA I would not go precisely with a 10 day forecast. No one can predict with certainty whether or not it will rain ten days from now. At this point, don't worry about it. Check the forecasts when you get within a couple of days of going and understand they too can be wrong.

Heck, we've seen next day forecasts be completely off! Remember that when they say tons of rain, that could all be within a one hour period or it could be the whole day. Always good to have some museums that you want to see if it starts to rain on you or bring rain gear if you're up to dealing with the wet.

You can also ride the Ho-Ho bus on the bottom level--and then get off if it stops raining!
