how far of a hike is it to the waterfall, were there alot of photo opportunities?

We did this excursion on our first trip to St Lucia. It was great. The hike to the waterfall was fun, and not real difficult. They give you a walking stick to use, take it - you will need it. It is a little bit slippery and you have to cross a creek while walking on stone to get across. Lots of photo ops. Bring a zip lock bag or water bag for your camera as it rains a bit in the rain forest and we nearly killed our Canon digital camera. Don't forget to wear you bathing suit for a dip in the river.
