Return of the Penguins Live WEBCAM til 9/21/08

Puerto Madryn guide Monica Berg sent me the above link. The penguins have returned to the coast of Chubut Province and are laying their eggs. Officials have set up webcams on the shore and are broadcasting live. The broadcast will end Sunday 9/21/08 when the sun goes down.

I just saw the penquins - they are so cute!!!!!!!!:)

You must have been more restrained than me - I left it on all day - I was suprised at how noisy they were.

I did leave it on for a few hours and kept stopping by to see what they were doing!!!! It was so amazing.

 

I just can't believe that I was watching penquins in real time thousands of miles away!! They are a noisy bunch:D

If I didn't have things dragging me out of the house, I would have spent the entire day watching. January 4 can't come soon enough!

 

Can you imagine local TV doing something similar in the US?? Not me! They do something similar with the whales in the spring.
