calling vs booking online

This is probably a silly question but I have always booked online. In order to get the platinum discount do I need to call rccl and do my booking that way or can I book it online and then call C&A to get the discount applied? And if I call do I call C&A to make the booking or do I just call the normal #?

You can book online then call C&A to add the discount. If you call to book, they want you to book with a reservation agent instead of C&A (calling the C&A number will ask you if you are booking a new cruise). If you call to make the booking, then they will have to call C&A to get the discount applied while you are on the phone.

If you're looking for a specific cabin number, you're better off calling since the website often just gives you the first cabins available by category.
