Does anyone know the cost of a cab from the airport in Barcelona to the port? I'm trying to decide if I should take the cruiseline's transfers.

It was about 35 Euros from the Hotel to the Airport last Sunday, if that helps. Hotel was near the Placa Catalunya.

It will be MUCH less expensive to take a taxi if there are two of you.

The fare is between 20-35 Euros depending on the traffic. It also means you can get out of the airport when you are ready without waiting for additional flights to arrive. There are lots of cabs at the airport.:)

Since the port is a little more than half-way to the city, the fare should be lower. More in the range that orchestrapal quoted. Will find out next month.

Our fare from the port to the airport in Barcelona was 30 euros yesterday. Our trip was during morning rush hour, about 8:30 AM, and traffic was heavy getting out of the city. We were told to expect to pay 30 to 35 euros. You also pay a per bag charge. We had 3 large suitcases, one roll aboard, and two carryons.
