3 berth room?

We are sailing on the Crown Oct 5 and have a 3 berth cabin which we don't need, there is only the two of us. Does anyone know if the twin beds are not able to be made into a queen? I sure hope that they can, I don't relish the thought of not sleeping with my DH all week. Also what can you tell me about the cruise director.... Kelvin Joy.. who we will have on the Crown

you will be able to have a queen bed, tell dh to warm up his feet now! the 3rd bed is locked flush with the ceiling and you won't notice it. i'm not sure about the cd, but i'm sure others have info.
