lsmommy Posted October 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2008 We have done a couple of DCL cruises, and my girls love them, but now I am thinking of doing the Carnival Dream or RCCL Freedom of the Seas, in 2010. I have found some postings that show the kids clubs activities, and I am sure my olderst daughter 8 would find lots to do. My youngest who is 6, likes to hang out with me, so I am trying to find out what types of family activities are available on other ships. I know there will be the pools and mini golf, and eating ice cream, but what other types of activities are scheduled during the day, as we are not much of a night owl family, if we make it to 9:00 we are lucky. TIA.
crusinmama06 Posted October 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2008 Did you go through the pages in my signature? The ones for Freedom of the Seas has "Family Activities" listed daily as well as the kids activities. So on Freedom, off the top of my head I know they have both morning and evening organized family activities.... --Family Welcome Aboard Party --Family Scavenger Hunt --Family Karaoke --Family Dance Party --Family Basketball --Family Mini Golf Tourney --Family Trivia --Family Quest --Family Cartoon Trivia --Family Learn to Climb Rockwall --Family Build Clinic by Lowe's Then as far as activities onboard there are --Rock wall climbing --ice skating --Parades - yes parades...lol. Gotta love going to a parade on a ship --H20 Zone Here is one of the pages from the 6 year old group on Freedom...look on the bottom for daily Family Activities
