My S&S bill for 1 week on the Glory was just under $1800 for 2 adults 2 kids.

Our entire S&S Bill was approximately $900 for 2 adults. We had 12 drink coupons purchased in advance to help with the costs of the drinks and had a shipboard credit that we prepaid as well. Drinks only were about $250 on top of the 12 coupons as our's was a port intensive cruise. We didn't want to be too hungover exploring all the new and beautiful places. We did spend $350 at the photo gallery cuz their photographers really captured some great shots. We also paid for our own excursions to save money, so the $900 had only drinks, photos, small gift shop purchases, and 2 trips to the Pastry shop. Our tips were also prepaid and didn't show up on our bill.

So, back to the original question: $350 would have been our bar bill on board the ship only had we not used coupons. We spent about $150 in port just on the bar, but only drank in 2 ports.

On our 10/17 Pride trip our bar bill came to $1924 and that was for 2 of us however we did purchase 2 Soda cards as part of that and we spent about $250 for a couple bottles of wine at David's Supper Club.

The first day was probably the most around $400 but after that we figured out the $2.75 drinks before noon. Up on the Lido deck we'd get a bucket of beers and that was running $17 a pop for 4!!!!!

Oh, and did I mention was also brought our own spirits on??? Go figure!

Our bill runs about $50 per day.

Since we are on the subject, does anyone know how much they are now charging for a double mixed drink?

Last year on the Paradise, double VO's and Coke were 2 x $4.25 + 15% ($1.28) = $9.78

Thanks!

What is the best way to smuggle your own drink aboard? Crusing on the Valor very soon and don't want to rack up such a huge bill. :D

Is it simpler to bring stuff from home aboard on first embarkation, or bring aboard stuff you've bought in port? Does the embarkation staff in port actually check your purchases?

Thanks for any ideas! haha

threads like this make me want to go out and buy even more CCL stock...I think its great that people are willing to spend money like this on the cruise, but I didn't know that there were so many that ran up tabs like this just on booze...don't get me wrong, I drink, but I do the most drinking on the islands like st maarten or cozumel where the buckets of beers are cold and come in bottles on the beach and I do have a bar in the cabin for some walking around drinks...they could give some people here free cabins considering their onboad habits...if a ship was run a way a las vegas casino is, they just might...
