So my fiancee and I are going though music and have no idea what to use for a father/daughter mother/son song. I find a ton for father/daughter but not mother/son. Since out reception is only 1.5 hrs we wanted to use one song for both. Any suggestions???

How about "I'll Stand By You" by the Prentenders? I used it for my Father/Daughter dance and it can apply to any parent. They are the ones who always stand by us no matter what!

For the father/daughter we did "I loved her first" by Heartland and for the mother/son my MIL wanted "A song for my Son"..

Hubby and his mom used "There You'll Be" by Faith Hill. Dad and I used "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. Either would be appropriate for mom/son and dad/daughter.

 

We're fans of all genres of music, but country seemed to rule the day when it came to our parent dances! :D

Suggest 'Ordinary Miracles' by Amy Sky...really great song from both a Mom or Dad perspective and an appropriate tempo for a Mom/Son, Daughter/Father slow dance. Have a listen and see what you think! Congrats on your upcoming wedding, hope all goes well:)
