Question On Leaving from Port Everglades

It would depend on how early you are looking at. We have arrived at the port around 1030 and were allowed inside an airconditioned area with chairs and TV's. When you enter they give out these laminated cards with numbers and that is the order in which you would be allowed to board. Boarding can happen anywhere from 1100 onward depending on how fast the ship can clear customs and get everybody off.

DH & I hve sailed out of Port Everglades several times and our experience has been the same as ashtyn's. We try to arrive at the port between 10:30 - 11 a.m. Only time I can ever remember having to wait outside the terminal was several years ago and that was due to the ship not clearing immigration with prior pax. The wait wasn't bad at that time as we were under an awning cover and there were seats outside available for those who needed them.

The last time we sailed out of PC (on RCL's Enchantment) we walked into and AC waiting area about 10:30am. Prior to 11:00am they announced that all Suite, Platinum, Diamond and D+ folks were to move to a separate waiting area and shortly thereafter, they escorted us to a priority check in area and in 10 minutes or less we were onboard.:)

I also got to FLL about 11:00; unfortunately it wasn't until about 1 o'clock they began herding people through to get their Sea Pass cards.

Fortunately they had the handicapped pax in a specific area & we were able to check in ahead of everyone else.
