14Terry Posted October 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2008 We scheduled a reservation for Chops. Four days ago, for our upcoming cruise in January, on the RCI website. No phone calls were needed. Enjoy your cruise! :D
takeavacation Posted October 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 17, 2008 As long as it is for a group of 6 or fewer - you can book it on the RCL website -- enjoy. We ate at Chops a couple of weeks ago on the Liberty and it was FABULOUS!
PH8 Posted October 17, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 17, 2008 Go to your reservation on www.rccl.com you will where you can book the restaurants online(under cruise enhancements)
cb at sea Posted October 18, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 18, 2008 Unless you really need a specific time and day, you should have a problem getting a reservation onboard.
Slam308 Posted October 18, 2008 #6 Share Posted October 18, 2008 So, slightly different question. Has anyone noticed that it's harder to get a reservation on the ship now that they've started scheduling before the cruise? How much does it really fill up now that there are internet reservations? Mary1951 Posted October 18, 2008 #7 Share Posted October 18, 2008 I made reservations online at the RCCL site , no problem , they will ask for your credit card to charge ir and you are on your way to dinner at Chops . good luck

billyboy41 Posted October 18, 2008 #9 Share Posted October 18, 2008 I tried to book recently for our trip on Freedom of the Seas, but the website said the times were not available. I called RCCL and was told that they will book up to 50% capacity (for specific reservation times) and if the website said the the time was not available, then the online bookings were full. They said they limit the online reservations so that there is room for those boarding the ship to make a reservation. We booked the reservation when we boarded with no problems (we did get on early). We had a 6:30 PM reservation and the restaurant was nearly empty, so I was a bit surprised that I had trouble with the online reservation. Hope this helps.
