We are on the 4/14 transatlantic and were wondering if anyone knows who the current party band onboard the Equinox is.

Grahame, the Captain's Club loyalty ambassador, told us he would be leaving Eclipse and will begin duites on Constellation as of mid-August 2014. I probably have misspelled his name. It seemed like an unusual spelling. He is very friendly and very interesting to converse with.

 

We also heard that Perry Grant is leaving Eclipse this week, but I don't know which ship he will grace with his piano and song stylings and his humor.

He does a wonderful job making everyone feel welcomed and has gone out of his way to make each of my husband's and my four sailings with him some of the best. Hope he'll still be on the Constellation when she comes back to Ft. Lauderdale again this Fall.

Staff never really know when they are leaving and where they will be going. quote]

 

When I was leaving Blu, yesterday morning, I told the Maitre'd that I would be back onboard in 6 weeks. He said that he would probably pass me on the gangway, as he hoped to be getting off by that time. Said that he was suppose to leave that morning, but got word the day before that his replacement could not make it.:eek: I felt so sorry for him thinking that he would be leaving for a break and then to find out otherwise! :(

 

Do we know who will be on the Connie in April?

 

It is reported that Rafi will still be onboard. She was onboard my cruise last week. However, every time I went by her office, it was either closed, or she was away from the window. I did not attend the Elite cocktail hour because my daughters traveling with me were not Elite. :( I hope to meet her on my next cruise on the Connie.

 

I did catch a glimpse of Rafi in the dining room when she was leading a group of guest in to dine with the Captain. I have to say that I was impressed with a quick change that she had to make that Formal evening. The Captain decided to add two more guest from a table that was next to his table (two women eating alone at an 8 top that sort of invited themselves, although I believe they were joking) and it threw everyone for a loop. The waiters were scattering to set up two more places at the already crowded table (they put two place settings at the end) . Rafi left the dining room, and within what seemed like 5 minutes, she was back with nameplates for the extra guest. :eek:

 

BTW- Drew ? was the CD. He has a really good singing voice. ;)

Hi Arno,

It could have happened as I got off the ship on the 14th. I had a long conversation with him in the Ilounge as he was going to buy an Apple computer stateside before the transatlantic since it is less expensive in the States than buying it in euros. He was asking the Apple Ilounge manager to look into getting him the model he wanted. He told me he was on the Constellation until his vacation time, but things certainly could have happened.

 

I do know that they moved several people from the Constellation to other ships to fill in for vacations after our cruise ended on the 14th but who would be back on the Constellation shortly.
