Sorry - I don't know the circumstances, nor do I have information about the depth, etc. which you requested in another post. I do know that our 1,700 GRT Professor Molchanov safely navigated into Whaler's Bay in January 2007. There were very stiff winds at the time, but as soon as we entered the caldera the winds died out.
