cyberfilly Posted October 30, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2008 Princess has the MUTS screen outside over the pool which will surely be televising the superbowl.
CruisenOne Posted October 30, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2008 just about all ships will have some location aborad to view the game On the down side:( It may possibly be shown on Spanish ESPN; in English. If so, no Commercials:(
barbarah33 Posted October 30, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 30, 2008 I cruise every year with a friend to watch the Superbowl. Thus far we have sailed on Princess, Celebrity and RCL for the big game. By far and away Celebrity does the best job 'celebrating' it with food, decorations, casino-run pools, etc. Since you mentioned you will be with your son, if he is younger then he may not be as fond of Celebrity for the rest of the cruise so I would consider Princess; a ship with MUTS as cyberfilly suggested. They also do a nice job with it. As a matter-of-fact I will be on a Princess cruise this year for the SB. The game will be in English but you won't get the commercials at all; the screen just kind of stays 'frozen' on the stadium while the rest of the world gets the ads. Have a wonderful trip. shopril Posted October 30, 2008 #7 Share Posted October 30, 2008 FYI - We were on NCL a few years ago during Superbowl. They had a lot of hype about Super Bowl party in the Lounge & available on the TV in your cabin. They lost satellite reception and we got nothing but "snow".
