Possible lifting of 3oz liquid rule

There was a blurb in the news magazine "The Week" about allowing larger size liquid containers in carry-ons in 2009. Will have to wait until an official announcement to see if it is true.

Bringing your shampoo, with the news that in 2009, airline passengers will be allowed to carry normal bottles of liquids onto planes again, thanks to improved X-ray technology. “That’s a major milestone for security,” said a government spokesman.

I think the proposed rule change is scheduled for late 2009.

Now that we've all got the little bottles & jars! LOL:rolleyes: I spend so much time going around getting samples that it has become a joke for my family. Ah well...:cool:

I wish they would lift this sooner its very annoying if you travel often and want to just do carry on.
