Traffic Jam in Port Everglades?

Does anyone know how Princess handles multiple ships boarding in Port Everglades? We are departing on 10 Dec on the Royal, but the Coral and Crown are also departing that day. Will Princess use Terminal Two for all of them or somehow separate them? Any experience from Princess cruisers on three ships boarding at the same time?

Thanks,

Princess does use multiple piers if that are other Princess ships in port. Sometimes you can leave from one pier and arrive back at aother.

Last year when boarding the Emerald, they had three in port...they all used different facilities

When we returned from a December cruise on the Emerald last year the Caribbean Princess was at the same place and it was a mess.....6000 people getting off the two ships and 6000 more getting on. Plus it was raining. We were on the Cruise Connection bus and didn't get out of the port until 1pm. There were 8 or 10 ships in port that day, so guess they had to double up where they docked.

And, yes, that is the 9th, not the 10th... That would be bad if we showed up a day late for our departure! :o

The homeports board had another thread I was able to find on multiple departures as well as a link to the Harbor Master's site so we can find where we're leaving from as we get close enough to departure for it to be listed.

laughing husky--We were on the 10-day Panama Canal out of FLL on the Coral last year. It was wonderful! Have a great cruise.

Thanks for responses,

We disembarked our cruise a couple of years ago just before Christmas and there were 7 ships in Port Everglades that day. We thought it would be an absolute nitemare, but it honestly went just about as smooth as anything we have ever seen. In and out of the terminal area without as much as a traffic jam.

Enjoy!
