londinium Posted November 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2008 Hi all. We are off on Ventura for the first cruise of our lives. We hear a lot about informal dress in restaurants and around the ship. The question is, What constitutes, 'Informal?' As much information for male and female informal dress would be much appreciated.
cb at sea Posted November 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2008 Read your cruise brochure for more details, but slacks and shirt for men in the dining room, and slacks, skirts, capris, etc... for women, and shorts, tees, shirts...etc... in most of the daytime dining venues. Most lines don't want you in a bathing suit (uncovered) in any of the eating places, but "informal" is basically the same as casual.
