kennetro Posted November 8, 2008 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2008 You forgot to ask if it's safe for your six-year-old children to run wild all over the ship unsupervised......(of course using the expression "They're always very well behaved.") Thanks for a great laugh today!
osiebosie Posted November 8, 2008 #5 Share Posted November 8, 2008 And, yes, you can show up 45 minutes late to dinner and expect perfect service. Be sure your speedo is black for the formal night. Shay

Rare Peregrina651 Posted November 9, 2008 #7 Share Posted November 9, 2008 Be sure your speedo is black for the formal night. Sorry. A simple black speedo is not considered formal wear. It must have a satin stripe down the side seam in order be considered formal.

spearmint Posted November 9, 2008 #11 Share Posted November 9, 2008 1)Can I bring a case of wine and a keg of beer with me when I embark? Certainly. 2)Are Speedos permitted on formal night if I wear a dinner jacket and bow tie? Absolutely; it is a thong that causes the maitre'd to ask you to leave and come back properly attired. 3)Do they check the closets or can I hide there during the muster drills? No they don't and yes you can. 4)I am cruising at Christmas, can I expect any children on board? Not a one. 5)If I am late returning from a private excursion, will they know by my seapass card that I am not there and wait for me? Of course. And if so can they have a helocopter pick me up and land on the ship at sea? Why else do they have the landing pad on the front of the ship, for goodness sake? 6)Does anyone know if they will have an inch of gold "sale" and an Art auction on my cruise? No they won't. Hope that this does not cause you any constenation. 7) Can I make an 8:15 flight if my ship gets in 8:00? No problem. 8)What really happens if one flushes whilst seated? OO-OOH, the mental picture; really does not bear thinking about! You have presented an intelligent, well-thought out set of inquiries that I am sure everyone has wanted to ask about. I don't think that they have ever been posted before on these boards. Thank you so much.
Woodmnky Posted November 9, 2008 #12 Share Posted November 9, 2008 Oh yeah and anyone that asks will get a table for two by the best window and will get a personal tour of the bridge by the Captain where they will be able to steer the ship. Rare Terre Posted November 11, 2008 #19 Share Posted November 11, 2008 Black formal Speedos are permitted if they are worn under your formal jeans. But that's ONLY if you wear your formal flip flops with your jeans. Oh, and you must have on your formal wife beater tank. I think the gift shop sells them with rhinestones around the seams.
