redneck_dan Posted November 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2004 My toddler needs soy milk: 1) Do they have soy milk on the boat? 2) If not, is there a grocery store within walking distance of the boat at the Port of Galveston. 3) If there is a store nearby will they let you get off and on the boat in Galveston after you get your boarding pass? umograd83 Posted November 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2004 Dan: Call your travel agent and let them know that your child has special dietary needs. If Carnival knows ahead of time, they can probably arrange to have the soy milk available. I don't believe you will be able to get "off" the ship once you get on. If you want to buy the milk, get it before you board the ship. Norma
Randy & Carmen Posted November 6, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 6, 2004 Galveston Island is not that big and there are some stores close....The Island is about like you leaving Little Elm and going to Lewisville.....;) .....You also can't get off the ship once you board until you get to a new port...I say take the soy milk with you to be safe and enjoy......I love that ship!:D

Stircrzy Posted November 6, 2004 #5 Share Posted November 6, 2004 I just called Carnival and they DO carry soy milk if requested prior to your cruise. Call 1-888-CARNIVAL, ex. 70025 and they will get you set up.
redneck_dan Posted November 8, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted November 8, 2004 Thanks all. I will call my travel agent this week with my request. Randy, Actually, it is pretty hard to get from Little Elm to Lewisville. You have to drive all the way around the lake to get there. They need a bridge across the lake very badly.
