TMJplus1 Posted November 9, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2008 Does anyone know if there is any golf instruction (such as a golf simulator) on board the Eurodam? I do not see it listed as an amenity, but just wondered. Also, any golfers out there who noticed golf courses or packages on any of the Eastern Caribbean itineraries? My hubby and my friend's hubby (they are traveling with us) would love to get in a round or two during our cruise. Plus I can't think of a more perfect time for me and my friend to sneak off to the spa!
mcw331 Posted November 9, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2008 Mahogany Run St Thomas was a really nice round of golf last year.
wwinfl91 Posted November 10, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2008 Here is a link to the course on St Thomas. http://www.mahoganyrungolf.com/ Here is an article on golf in Puerto Rico http://www.worldgolf.com/travel/puerto-rico/puerto-rico-golf04.htm and another http://www.dollarman.com/puertorico/golf.html I'm pretty sure there are no golf course in Grand Turk and I know there isn't one on Half Moon Cay. From what I can find there is no golf simulator on the Eurodam. Have a great next cruise.

It was removed when that ship was refurbished.
TMJplus1 Posted November 10, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted November 10, 2008 THANK YOU for the info - and especially for the links WWINFL91. So here is a possibly dumb follow-up question: would they need to bring their own clubs? Or do most courses rent clubs?
wwinfl91 Posted November 10, 2008 #6 Share Posted November 10, 2008 Almost all golf courses in resort areas rent sets of clubs. From the USVI golf course site We carry over one hundred complete new sets of left-and right-handed, graphite and steel shafted Callaway and Cobra golf club rentals for men and women. Foot-Joy shoe rentals are also available. Hopefully you will get a great day in the spa and your husbands will have a good game of golf. Have a great next cruise.
