Best Liberty Secrets

Recommended Posts

About a year ago (before cruising for the first time) I came on here and asked for your best secrets from the Mariner. The things that might not get noticed but are gems.

Many of the numerous responses were fantastic and really helped make the vacation even better than it would've been.

So now that we're booked for a future sailing on the Liberty, I figured I'd try again and call on your good advice.

What are the things I absolutely need to know before sailing? Anything would be good. Those of you who've sailed on this ship and are now experts, this is your time to share what you know.

Thanks.

If you are a drinker, go see Castro at the Schooner Bar (I think that's the name of it, the one right outside of Catacombs and the Casino). We were there several different nights and he always made our drinks doubles (at least!) for the regular price. Be careful though....after spending an evening going back and forth from Catacombs to the Scooner Bar, my husband was refering to Castro as "the devil" the next day. :)

To get to the helipad go all the way forward outside on deck 4, then up the stairway and forward to the front of the ship.

I wouldn't recommend hanging off the bow and doing the Leo DeCaprio "king of the world" thing though, the crew up above in the bridge might frown on it:D

We cut through the lounge.. the Sphinx lounge! Facing the stage, there is a sliding door on your right.. go out there and up the stairs :) Quick and easy
