winediva Posted November 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2008 We spend so much time poolside, I'm thinking of getting a new pair of flip flops, but was shocked by all of the choices/styles/brands! Anyone swear by a particular brand or style? I saw everything from Coach, Crocs, Juicy, Cole Haan, Steve Madden, Gucci, Michael Kors to Old Navy! So confused!!!! nadalina Posted November 13, 2008 #4 Share Posted November 13, 2008 Yellow Box flip-flops are the most comfortable I have ever worn, plus they're incredibly cute!! I usually don't like wearing flip-flops because the thing that goes between my toes bothers me..... not so with Yellow Box! My daughter and granddaughters put me on to them and now I have six pairs in various styles and colors. Plus they are very reasonably priced. Cotton Ginny Posted November 13, 2008 #5 Share Posted November 13, 2008 I like the Sperry brand. Sperry (topsiders) are made for boaters and have especially good non-skid and non-marking features. They are good quality and their flip flops should run in the $55-$75 price range depending on style. Jeri
rolfecms Posted November 13, 2008 #6 Share Posted November 13, 2008 And I thought this was yet another dress-code thread that asked the question that everyone is waiting for the answer: What flip flops are the most appropriate for formal nights in the dining room?
winediva Posted November 13, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted November 13, 2008 Cool! I'll check out all of those brands. I saw Havaianas and Yellow Box on ebay for pretty reasonable prices. And I have way too many cute shoes I want to wear in the dining room. No worries on a formal and flip flop combo for me :).

Princessmich Posted November 14, 2008 #12 Share Posted November 14, 2008 there was the same topic being discussed prior to my cruise & I was turned on to Reefs..they are really comfortable and Zappos sells them in double packs! They worked out great for me! Michelle:)
aubriee Posted November 14, 2008 #13 Share Posted November 14, 2008 Teva Mush are number one for me, followed closely by Montrail Molokini. I've also bought several pairs of Havianas on Ebay and they're comfortable once they're broken in. I think the Teva Mush and Montrail Molokinis are better though as they have more support and more cushion. The Old Navy ones are too hard and the toe thingy on the Crocs are too thick for me. BlueHerons Posted November 14, 2008 #14 Share Posted November 14, 2008 I like rainbows. can walk all day in them too. Love my Rainbows and they last forever! Havianas are very comfortable but can't touch Rainbows.
jpg1747 Posted November 14, 2008 #15 Share Posted November 14, 2008 I bought a bunch of them in lots of different colors online at OldNavy.com when they were on sale. They're very comfortable. I also watch the sales at Payless.com.

skyhulagirl3 Posted November 14, 2008 #20 Share Posted November 14, 2008 Chacos all the way, I have 5 pairs of their flip flops and 3 pairs of their other sandals. Check them out at Chacousa dot com. They have a great arch support and you can also get them in leather. The Hipthong is my favorite! That's all I wear all summer.
Sassy Chassis Posted November 15, 2008 #21 Share Posted November 15, 2008 I've been wearing Roxys for quite a while. My hubby is a big fan of Reef. I do suggest that you get some flipflops with traction on the sole as the pool areas on ships get slippery!! Yes, I speak from experience here :o

cruiser82 Posted November 17, 2008 #25 Share Posted November 17, 2008 I do suggest that you get some flipflops with traction on the sole as the pool areas on ships get slippery!! Yes, I speak from experience here :o I avoid the pool areas for exactly that reason. I have no desire to slide almost the entire length of the pool deck again so I second the idea of making sure your flip flops have good traction!
