How are the Upper port hole rooms on the Fantasy Class?

We had one of those rooms on the Fantasy and loved it. Our son was five at the time and he liked to sit in the window well and look out with his toys gathered around him.

In the morning we did hear the sound of an anchor dropping (or something that sounded like that anyway). We thought it was kind of cool-reminded us that we were on a ship.

No noise of people coming and going though and very quiet at night.

I always have to remember that "port" has four letters and so does "left".

We sail January 21 - a surprise Christmas present for DH. We have cabin U7 (starboard) on the Elation. Is this a Fantasy class ship? Has anyone had this category 5A cabin? I passed up the last available balcony because it was twice the cost and obstructed.

As much as my husband loves a balcony, I wonder if I did the right thing. I have waitlisted for a balcony but am not really very hopeful. Any thoughts??
