Miami in Jan.

On my RCCL countdown to cruise page for our January cruise in the lower right corner it says Miami temps. 56.2 F average high and 32.1 F average low.

 

I have never been to Miami but common sense tells me these temps are not right. Shouldn't the temps be higher?

They can be...and usually are! It really depends on what weather fronts are moving across the country and how far south the cold fronts dip! For Miami, that does sound pretty low!

Here's a link to weatherreports.com which indicates January average high temp for Miami to be 75.

That is too low for "average".... can happen, for a couple of nights... but would be the exception. Most of the time a light jacket or sweater is all (if even) needed for the entire "winter" season. :cool:

My husband and I have family in Miami and have cruised several times out of the Port of Miami. Over the last eight years, I have visited in the Dec/Jan time frame seven times. More often than not, my attire has consisted of jeans and a feece or sweater. We only had one year with shorts weather. The last time we went, the high was around 65.
