Carlisle Bay vs. Accra Rockley with 3 year old

We are in Barbados in December and are torn between going to Lobster Alive or Accra Rockley Beach. We have a 3 year old. Which beach is most likely to have good surf for the kiddo to swim? Which has he nicer, sandier, cleaner beach? Does Accra have anywhere on the beach that you can get a beer, water, food etc? Thanks a ton.

Carlisle Bay will be calmer

whereas Accra is a bit rougher, sometimes with surf(depends on the day!).

Accra has by far the better amenities, shade trees, umbrellas, drinks and snack stalls nearby

- even colorful tropical clothing stalls nearby.

Kiddo will enjoy Accra, even though you'll have to watch him/her

but then you have to watch kids when they're around water anywhere

even if it's like a millpond!

Accra is developed, popular and happening -- Carlisle Bay is less so

but does have places like Lobster Alive and Boatyard nearby for showers, drinks, etc

If we went to Lobster Alive, is it far enough from the Boatyard to not be bothered by loud music? I don't mind hearing it, but I don't want to have to yell to have a conversation either. Thanks.

is it far enough from the Boatyard to not be bothered by loud music? ===> Yes it is

I don't mind hearing it,

but I don't want to have to yell to have a conversation either. ===> My sentiments exactly!!

Boatyard is also downwind of Lobster Alive, so you'll hear it in the background only.
