7 Night Summit- When to make Specialty dining Rez?

We are on the Jan 3 sailing and would like to make reservations for one night at the specialty restaurant. Usually on a 7 day cruise there is what I have experienced as a "lesser" dinner menu. We don't want to miss formal nights- Does anyone have an idea of the menu cycle so we can choose our " night out" before we sail?

Hi Naxos, we are on the Jan 3 sailing also. We booked the speciality dining on sail away (day 1). From what I've read, the formal nights are day 3 (Dominica) and day 6 (Barbados). Hope this helps with your decision. :)
