I used to do a good bit of business travel in LB. My personal favorite hotel was The Residence Inn on Willow (Near the Airport) I know it's not very close to the Cruise Terminal, but it is convenient to a number of dining options and the have a hot breakfast every morning and manager's reception on weekday afternoons.

Of those three, I'd go ...

1) Hyatt

2) Renaissance

3) Hilton

Pretty much the order in proximity to restaurants, shopping, etc....though all are pretty close...It's also pretty much the order in terms of "nicest", though, again all three are nice...The Hyatt is right next to the Convention Center on the "ocean" side of Ocean Boulevard, the Renaissance is right at Ocean and Pine, the Hilton is a few blocks to the west...

Don't stay near LB airport--it's 15 miles from the pier in San Pedro, 12 miles from the pier in Long Beach, in an industrial area--and, though there are some restaurants that serve the businesses and airports, it's nowhere near the variety and fun you'll find in the Convention Center area...The Pike, Shoreline Village, Pine Street all have a nice selection of shops and eateries...

If I did this right, you can see the Hyatt right next to the Convention Center, the Renaissance on the Northwest Corner of Ocean and Pine, the Hilton is over by Ocean and Queensway...The Pike is at Pine and Shoreline...Shoreline Village is on the point between Rainbow Harbor and the Marina...The Carnival Pier is the one next to the Queen MAry out on the Point...The San Pedro Pier is six miles to the West...

We stayed at the Hyatt. Nice hotel. Breakfast is not normally included but you could look for a room that includes breakfast or their club floor.

We didn't stay at the Renaissance but also looks like a nice hotel and is also in a nice location. We may stay there in March.
