Ever since my parents let me sip from their "Yellow Bird" back on the SS Norway that drink has been my cruise favorite...

I'm not much on frou-frou drinks....onboard, I usually drink gin and tonic with lime of a nice Campari and soda.

 

However, upon boarding the first day....I head for the atrium bar and order a double Yellowbird and have a seat to watch the action. I love Yellowbirds......refreshing, lots of booze and an umbrella......with a kick like a mule. It's made fresh so you know how much booze is being used, too (for those who complain about watered down drinks). It actually contains both white and dark rum AND a nice finishing splash of Galiano....YUMMY.

 

I don't usually have another one unless it is a DOD special.......

Every port we go to, I ALWAYS have a 'local' beer..!!!:p

 

Some are outstanding, but some are .... Ummm.m.m.... Not so great!:rolleyes:;)

The "Dirty Banana" is a great drink. I am not much on crushed ice type drinks, but this one is great. Takes like a ripe banana.

That is a Dreamsicle! If you add vodka it gives it a little punch....;)

I'd go with the 'suitcase thing' too, but Bloody Mary's are tough to bring along...:(

I can just picture all that stuff all over my wife's clothes..:eek:

 

Aside from the fact that I LOVE beer, a Bloody Mary or Bloody Caesar is tops on my list in the AM! :p Only way to start the day!!!:D
