GmaPajama Posted December 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Oh my - everyone will have a different favorite, that's for sure. Personally, I like to try unusual things. The Indonesian dish, Bami Goreng, is one of my favorites. The Pinnacle Grill, of course, has the best Filet Mignon I've ever had - and the Banana French Toast at breakfast is to die for. Just a few of my own favs here. :)
RuthC Posted December 10, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2008 The chilled soups. Yummy! It's like having dessert first. :D And later on, anything chocolate for the real dessert. ;)
Modern_Viking Posted December 10, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Well, I often order (but not on the same night ;) ): rack of lamb Kansas City steak soup escargot sweet and sour pork (the pork is not dipped in batter or deep fried) sweet and sour duck (ditto for the duck) crab and cheddar dip rib eye steak Greek salad Parmesan crusted chicken breast with a mustard sauce There are others, but these are the ones that come to mind most quickly. Deb C. Posted December 10, 2008 #7 Share Posted December 10, 2008 The 4 jumbo cocktail shrimp (I had it 12-13 times on my last cruise!!) I also love the Parmeson crusted chicken with mustard sauce!:D Deb C.

May4 Posted December 10, 2008 #11 Share Posted December 10, 2008 The parmesan chicken has become a hit with me. I look forward to the bami goreng and the soups too. I really enjoy the salmon they put on the menu each night. It was especially well prepared the last time I sailed. If ever you are in the mood for a good burger, give the Terrace Grill a try. Rare Roz Posted December 10, 2008 #12 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Dutch pea soup (if you like that sort of thing :D ) Dover Sole (if it's still on the menu; your waiter will de-bone it for you) Bami Goreng (Indonesian noodle dish that's back on the menu, at least on the Eurodam)
Spinner2 Posted December 10, 2008 #13 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Bami Goreng was available on the Maasdam in October so that's a good choice. Chilled fruit soups; there's one offered almost every day! Lamb (shank or chops) Parmesan chicken I've loved many of the fish dishes; some haven't enjoyed them so perhaps it varies from ship to ship The fruit appetizers/starters in the dining room; may be in Lido too; don't know Beef wellington Shrimp cocktail Bread pudding, of coursek The raisin buns mentioned in the Lido are on the dining room bread tray too Dutch apple pancakes Taco bar So much more! ore-ee-gun Posted December 11, 2008 #14 Share Posted December 11, 2008 Ditto on the chilled fruit soups and bread pudding. If you like salmon, the "available every day" version is delicious, and not the least bit overcooked. I had it twice and would have gladly eaten it again if the other choices weren't so darned appealing! The Parmesan crusted chicken is also a winner, but I have to say, on our cruise last month, the chicken was a tad salty for my taste. I can't remember if I had it this time, but there is a spring roll appetizer that is also very yummy.
mamaofami Posted December 11, 2008 #15 Share Posted December 11, 2008 The chilled soups are really excellent. Chocolate volcano for dessert in The Pinnacle. Pinnacle filet minyon is wonderful. Bread pudding in the Lido and my all time favorite is the escargot. Can't wait till I sail in January!:D

CowPrincess Posted December 11, 2008 #20 Share Posted December 11, 2008 Baked brie. Jumbo shrimp cocktail. The eggs benedict made with crab instead of ham/back bacon in the Lido. The prime rib was perfect on our last cruise (unlike May/08 when it resembled NO piece of beef I've ever eaten).
