Beach question

I have posted this question on another board as I am trying to find a beach in some ports of our Constellation Cruise. I have recently had a total knee replacement, so I am looking for a beach that is easy to get into and out of the water. I'd also like one that doesn't have a strong undertow. I am afraid of falling on my way back up to the beach from the water. Can anyone give me a recommendation and also advise how far it would be from the ship and the approximate cab fare? Get a day pass at the allegro pineapple resort at Long Bay which is protected by reef on the outside so inside the reef stays calm.

Are we able to get that pass when we are there, or do we need to order it in advance. Do you know the cost of a cab to Allegro Resort? Thanks for much for the info.
