I'm glad she got the standard kit lens too. It wasn't clear from your posts that she did.

 

She'll get used to composing through the viewfinder. Heck, I now have the opposite problem. I pick up a compact digicam and I automatically put it to my eye--pretty bad when it doesn't have a viewfinder. :D

Yeh...I have a decision to make when I can get a new cam...not sure if I would like only being able to use a viewfinder...I took 1400 pictures on our last cruise and not sure I'd want the camera to my face the whole trip! :D But then again, having a saweet cam could help me feel better...
