synewton Posted December 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2008 We're considering taking our 9 year old on the Caribbean Princess next June. He's cruised before but is concerned that the Shockwave Club will consist predominantly of "arts & crafts." He likes kid centers that are central meeting places for boys his age and allow for a nice mix of structured activities and free play. A Playstation 2 center would be a big plus. Anyone out there have any experience on this ship?
cb at sea Posted December 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 21, 2008 The pool is a great "meeting place" for kids!
Livabeth Posted December 21, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 21, 2008 We were onboard the Crown with our 9 year old daughter in October. She loved Shockwaves. It was a great place to meet other kids her age and we found it was more geared towards free play and various different tournaments (i.e. air hockey, Play station, etc) than just arts and crafts.
