Sailfish Posted January 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2009 Question: We last cruised out of Los Angeles with Royal Caribbean, and as Diamond past guests, we had access to a private departure lounge with coffee, cookies and other goodies, as well as TV. We are Platinum past guests with Princess and was wondering if a similar departure lounge was available on embarkation day in San Pedro. After a long drive down from the north state, it would be a welcome treat! Thanks in advance for your reply. Suzi

bhopal21 Posted January 6, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2009 We weren't there long enough to see it.;) After we arrived we went straight to the check in and through the screeners and were onboard in about 15-20min. Mike:)

DrivesLikeMario Posted January 6, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 6, 2009 Yes, they do, but sometimes, they don't have any refreshments other than a little coffee. It's weird - you never know if they'll have the pastries, donuts, coffee & water. If you can, get seats nearer to the door than the food tables. Once they call the room to board, it's a mad dash to the doors!
vickie_bernie Posted January 7, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 7, 2009 heck last time we were there they didn't even have a Platinum/Elite line. Maybe because it was just a 3 day repositioning cruise. Also we never were in the building for long anyways went straight on board.
