Fins for snorkling . . . are they really needed?

I found some really great fins they are called split fin by U.S. divers, they are light to carry, and so much easier to use than others I've tried. They are designed for snorkeling, not diving try them you'll love them. I would never go far without fins, it's much safer with them!

My preference was not to wear fins while snorkeling, until I got a quill in my foot. Ooooch! That was years ago. My DH and I went on a cruise last month. I did use fins on our snorkeling excursions. I got used to wearing them and feel more comfortable with them now. You do get to your destination faster with them. Save your arms for kayaking. :)
