Cabin Upgrade 3 days out?

My TA just emailed me for the 2nd time asking if I was intrested in upgrading from my Cat D to a BA-BC for $149.00... $100.00 less than the offer they gave me 3 days ago?

 

I have been following this site for almost a year and I haven't seen this come up is this normal even though I have already been assigned a cabin and I have 3 cabins total in my party?

Sounds like a great deal. Personally, if you can afford it, don't ask why, just do it. A BA or even a BC has a balcony, and that's certainly worth the money, and the rest of your party can stop by and enjoy your view.;)

This happens sometimes when the ship isn't totally full. If you like the deal, by all means go for it.

 

We have read of people being upgraded at the dock when they check in so it isn't out of the question.
