Triple cabins or Coral or Island Princess

We're considering booking another Alaska cruise because my Mom's friends are a couple that I've always been close to and don't get to see very often. They've always wanted to do Alaska so we think we might go too. Mom would like to get her own cabin but the cost is pretty high. She's a little afraid of the "share" program with a stranger. So...we might get a mini suite for all 3 of us. What are the triple accommodations like on the Coral and Island? None of the 3 of us could do a "pullman". Do they use the sofa sleeper in the mini suite?

Yes - they use the sofa for the 3rd passenger on the Coral/Island Princess.

 

It is the same configuration as the Grand/Golden/Star Princess.
