Family of 8 in St Croix

Any inexpensive suggestions for what to do on a port of call stop for a family of 8 in St Croix this July?

All beaches are free and the water is beautiful. The closest beaches to the port are Rainbow/Rhythm Beach, and Dorsch Beach.

Fort Frederik is right at the end of the pier, its an old Danish Fort, you can check it out, get a little history lesson. Several beach options very close by, Fort Frederik Beach is right in walking distance, its a small beach, mostly sandy but a little rocky.
