feenix Posted January 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2009 We are traveling on AOS and wondering if they will have pool floats for the kids to use when swimming on the ship. Thanks.
ladypalmtree Posted January 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2009 No the pools are not that big and it would infringe upon other passengers personal space...:D
wrp96 Posted January 12, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2009 Definitely no pool floats, the pools aren't large enough to use them. If your children need floatation devices, then I recommend bringing life vests or water wings for them. I wouldn't recommend anything larger than that. feenix Posted January 12, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted January 12, 2009 Thanks - I was thinking about bringing the vests, or at least 1 of them, but didn't know if they may already have some of them around. They take up a lot of room in the suitcase!
cb at sea Posted January 13, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 13, 2009 Try the "water wings"--those little "blow up" thingies that go on your upper arm. The pools aren't deep!
Morecruisesplz Posted January 13, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 13, 2009 The pools aren't deep! It doesn't take deep water (although the pools are much deeper than most children are tall who would need water wings) or a lot of it to drown. Better safe than sorry if your children are not swimmers.
