iheartbda Posted January 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2009 We will be going on the NCL Dawn on 5/10/09-4 adults & 2 toddlers. What kinds of snacks, beverages can I bring into Bermuda for the kids? Thank you, Bonni;) People will tell you aboiut taking all sorts of things off the ship but only pre-packaged things are "legal." Beverages should not be a problem. Fruit is one of the biggest no-no's. Here's a picture of the "last ditch" effort before it was physically taken from someone.:p
jollyjones Posted January 14, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Please, please, please don't bring in anything fresh - our ecosystem is very vulnerable to introduced critters. Only bring packaged processed 'dead' stuff such as crackers, nuts, raisins, cereals - no fruit or veggies.
bonniltc Posted January 14, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Thank you-I promise that I won't bring in anything fresh. I just wasn't sure if I could even bring in packaged items. Thanks for your help.;):o:)
smeyer418 Posted January 14, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2009 I bring plastic bags from home and load up on croissants....I agree about fruit and veggies but processed bread isn't a problem unless ths ship is infected and if it is you are probably carrying off on your shoes/clothes anyway...
