Car rental in Auckland

We will be in Auckland at the end of our March 29 Millenium cruise and want to rent a car to drive down to Waimoto. We were wondering if anyone could recommend a good and reasonable car rental company that would bring the car to the port to meet us.

Have a look on VroomVroomVroom.co.nz which is like a rental car broker. You will get prices for all the companies and they are much cheaper than going to the company direct. You may find it easier just to get a taxi to the depot as you can go when you are ready.

You may have to get a taxi to pick up your car as it gets real busy on the wharf the day a ship comes in and parking is extremely tight and heavily patrolled.
