Totally the weather. The last few weeks have been horrendous!!!!

Cell phones..........It's the only time my wife cuts if off, because it is too expensive to talk on the ship...............

Cruise 4 ever said" If the cruise was right now, I'd say the frigid weather (wind chill -5 yesterday)."

 

Here in Alberta Canada its been -36 Celcius since about Nov.1...lol.

-5 is a warm day here..sometimes the birds..chickadees and magpies even come out, or the odd squirrell:)

 

We are tired of the short days, cooking,getting up w/ our teen after 36 years of marriage,having to shovel snow from the garage pad,deck and sidewalks 2-3 times a day..(or get fined..):(

 

Also they put so much sand and salt on the roads it all ends up on the cars and garage floors..meaning they need to be washed or the salt rusts out our vehicles..fun fun..:cool:

 

Being in Hawaii in March will seem like a different planet..

2 more months!:)

We're just happy to get away, period.

 

On our Christmas cruises, I have to say we're happy to get away from a few of our relatives. We only see them once a year and that is too often :p

What I like best is getting out of my normal routine (the 5:30 alarm, cooking/cleaning, etc.) and the luxury of doing whatever I want whenever I want to.

Husband's job. Every other vacation we take the laptop goes with us but not on the cruise.

It's a relief to get away from all the horrible things you read in the newspaper and hear on TV everyday. Relaxing on a cruise without a care in the world is priceless......even if it only lasts a week.
