craftycousins Posted January 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2009 We are from Australia and have booked a MSC cruise in Nov of this year, due to a falling Aussie dollar against the US currency at the moment we are wondering if it may be better to pay some extra on the cruise to save some money as the currency is predicted to go even lower :(. My question is are the payments you make before final payment fully refundable? Appreciate any assistance Tracey
ger_77 Posted January 19, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2009 If you're looking at buying an onboard credit prior to cruising, it's a great idea - we do it all the time. I usually give DH an anniversary gift of an onboard credit and it goes a long way to helping out with the final bill at the end of the cruise! Normally any unused credit in your account is refunded at the end of the cruise, usually by cheque, but I would check with MSC to see what their policy is. Smooth Sailing! :):):)
cb at sea Posted January 19, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 19, 2009 As long as any cancellations are done prior to the refundable date, then any money you've paid will be refunded. Check with your cruiseline for that date!
