Sapphire/San Pedro questions....

Hey,

 

Traveling on the Sapphire in a few weeks and looked through some threads and have a question on alcohol.....

 

1. Staying at the Crowne Plaza in San Pedro night before. Is there a Liqor store near by?

 

2. Also is there a duty free store at the Port in LA?

 

3. Are they as flexible in ports if you have alcohol in your carry on?

 

I have sailed twice on the Crown out of San Juan but not West coast.

I believe there is one across the street from the pier.

 

2. Also is there a duty free store at the Port in LA?

No.

 

3. Are they as flexible in ports if you have alcohol in your carry on?

Yes but be descreet, pack some in checked/carry on.

 

I have sailed twice on the Crown out of San Juan but not West coast.

San Pedro is very efficient at what they do.
