Do you tender in every port?

In planning our shore excursions, I was wondering if any one knew

if we tender into Samana D.R, Philipsburg St. Martin, St. John's Antigua,

Nassau Bahamas.

 

I'm not sure they've even done this itinerary yet but maybe some knows???:confused:

We're sailing on the Orchestra in April, on that itinerary. They have been doing that itinerary for several weeks now, alternating with a Western Caribbean itinerary.

 

AFAIK, the only tender port is Cayo Levantada (Samana). All the other ports have piers. St. John's may be limited to two ships. If so, it is possible that you may have to tender there, if more than two ships show up on the same day. St. Maarten can handle at least four, and Nassau can handle a lot; its been a cruise stop for a long, long time and is probably the most developed.

 

You can check how many ships will be in port with you at http://www.cruisett.com. Scroll to the bottom of their home page and there are options to search by port or by ship.

The only port that I've tendered at was the samana one however this was on the Lirica not orchestra. the others docked at the pier
