What side of the boat?

Hi all,

 

DH is booking our cruise (San Juan RT to the Southern Caribbean) and he would like to know if there is a better side of the boat to be on. I would think that we would want to face the islands? I really don't know, this cruise will be our first. :)

and either side will do, because you can never tell

which side scenic things will be happening on.

Congrats on the first cruise, that route is a blast. It's been a few years since we sailed it but. I seem to recall the port (left side) against the pier at two stops and the starboard (right) side on at least one so take your pick. I hope you have a great time on your cruise. O btw, vessels that size are generally referred to as "ships". :)
