Getting soda before boarding Voyager out of Galveston

Hi all! This question may have been asked before but I could not find it in the search area. We are sailing on Voyager out of Galveston, arriving early in Houston and using RCCL's transportation to the pier and were wondering if there was anywhere that we could get some Diet Coke to bring on board. It seems like people on the boards say that you can bring pop on board with you but we need a place to get it. Any advice?

Really no place close enough to walk, unless in the last week or two some shops have opened. Galveston is coming back, but you would have to shuttle to Wal-mart, a grocery store, etc...at that point its just cheaper to get the soda card.

Depends on where your hotel is. Some are staying in Houston, where there might be a place to get it the night before. Are you coming in straight from the airport? If so, then I agree, no place in the strand close by I can think of to grab cheap soda. Its more touristy type stuff at tourist prices.
